The editorial team of the Sivitas Journal invites academics, researchers, and Islamic education and study enthusiasts to contribute in the form of articles, community service and/or empowerment reports, or reviews that will be published in Vol. 1, No. 2, July 2021. The article must relate to human development and national competitiveness studies, poverty alleviation based on local resources, management of rural and urban areas with local wisdom, community advocacy, economic development, entrepreneurship, cooperatives, creative industries, and UMKM, development. Environmentally friendly technology, arts, literature, culture, and national integration and social harmony. The deadline for submitting articles is May 30, 2021.

    We invite academics, researchers, practitioners, and community stakeholders to submit their best scholarly articles focusing on community development, sustainability, and local wisdom. This Call for Papers aims to provide an academic forum for sharing ideas, research findings, and best practices that contribute to meaningful social impact.

    Submitted manuscripts are expected to offer critical insights and innovative solutions to contemporary challenges in economic, social, cultural, technological, and environmental fields, at local, national, and global levels.

    Scope of Articles includes (but is not limited to):

    1. Economic Empowerment & Entrepreneurship
    Community-based economic empowerment through MSMEs, creative economy initiatives, cooperatives, social entrepreneurship, and poverty alleviation strategies grounded in local resources.

    2. Social Development & Human Capital
    Human capital development, community advocacy, national integration, social development, social cohesion, and the promotion of harmony within diverse communities.

    3. Local Wisdom & Cultural Preservation
    Preservation and development of local wisdom in arts, literature, and culture, including rural and urban management practices rooted in indigenous values and cultural sustainability.

    4. Technology & Environmental Sustainability
    The application of eco-friendly technologies, sustainable innovation, and environmentally conscious development approaches that support ecological balance and community well-being.

    We welcome original articles based on empirical research or community-based practices that demonstrate strong academic relevance and tangible societal impact.
