History of The Journal

SIVITAS: Jurnal Pengabdian dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat was first published in Volume 1, Number 1, 2021, under the leadership of Dr. Arif Mulyawan, M.Esy, as the Editor in Chief. In its initial publication, the journal was established as a scientific medium for disseminating the results of community service and empowerment activities that emphasize innovation, collaboration, and the application of science and technology across various aspects of social life.

Starting with Volume 4 Number 2, the editorial leadership was continued by Nurul Fauziah, M.Pd, as the Editor in Chief, who has been committed to strengthening editorial management, improving publication quality, and expanding the network of national peer reviewers.

Based on the decree of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, SIVITAS: Jurnal Pengabdian dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat has been accredited at SINTA Rank 4 for a period of five years, from Volume 1 Number 2, 2021 to Volume 6 Number 1, 2026.

This journal is published by Muttaqien Publishing, P3M STAI DR. KHEZ. Muttaqien Purwakarta, with

e-ISSN: 2775-5177.

Since its establishment, the journal has served as a credible academic platform for lecturers, researchers, and practitioners to disseminate community service outcomes in the fields of education, social development, economy, appropriate technology, and community empowerment. SIVITAS consistently upholds academic integrity, transparency in the editorial process, and the quality of publications that contribute meaningfully to society.
