Kebijakan Peningkatan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah di Indonesia
Indonesia is a country that has a variety of potentials to become a large-scale economy. Indonesia has the potential for natural and human resources, and a conducive investment climate. But Indonesia also still has various problems such as unemployment and poverty. The presence of MSMEs has an important role in the Indonesian economy. Absorption of labor and increasing income are one of the problems that can be overcome by the presence of MSMEs. When the economic crisis occurs, the economic sector, especially MSMEs are able to survive. The government needs to establish policies aimed at increasing the ability of MSMEs both in quantity and quality. Improving MSMEs also needs support from the community by fostering an entrepreneurial spirit. The purpose of this study is to examine policies in an effort to improve micro, small and medium enterprises in Indonesia as one of the treatments in the problem of unemployment and poverty. The type of research used is library research. This research uses a qualitative approach that presents a descriptive analysis. The focus of increasing the activities of SMEs is aimed at low-income people, entrepreneurs, unemployed, and investors. The policy aspects of MSME consist of 8 aspects, namely funding, facilities and infrastructure, business information, partnerships, business licensing, business opportunities, trade promotion, and institutional support.
