Focus & Scope

Muttaqien: Indonesian Journal of Multidiciplinary Islamic Studies is a periodical scientific journal published 2 (two) times a year in January, and July, managed by the Research institutions and community service (LPPM) STAI DR. KH.EZ. Muttaqien Purwakarta had to go through a review and editing process.

This the journal promotes scientific publication on Islam and Muslim culture in its broadest sense covering textual, historical, and empirical aspects, both classical/medieval, modern, and contemporary periods in the Islamic Indonesia and beyond. This journal encompasses original research articles based on library and/or empirical research in the field of Islamic studies, especially on, but not limited to, eight main topics: (1) Islamic Education; (2) Islamic Law; (3) Islamic Economics; (4) Islamic Broadcasting Communication; (5) Islamic Thought and Philosophy; (6) Islamic History. It encourages articles that employ a multi-disciplinary approach to those topics. Scholars from any country and region concerned with Islam and its manifestation throughout Muslim history and geography in the Islamic World and beyond can submit their articles to Studi Multidisipliner and use this open access journal. Novelty and recency of issues, however, are the priority in publishing.
