About the Journal

KOMUNIKOLOGIA: Indonesian Journal of Islamic Communication and Broadcasting is a periodical scientific journal published biannually in June and December by Muttaqien Publishing, managed by the Research and Community Service Institution (LPPM) STAI DR. KH.EZ. Muttaqien Purwakarta. This journal contains scientific articles, research reports, community engagement studies, and student theses reviewing Islamic Communication and Broadcasting in the Indonesian context.

This journal is bilingual (Bahasa Indonesia and English). It publishes research articles, community service studies, and student theses. We invite scholars and experts specializing in Islamic Communication and Broadcasting studies related to the Indonesian context, such as the practice of Da’wah and Islamic Broadcasting, multicultural communication, popular media (novels, songs, movies), other cultural contexts, and Da’wah in social media. The aim is to provide readers with a better understanding of dynamic issues in Islamic Communication and Broadcasting in Indonesia and to present current developments through the publication of articles, research reports, and book reviews.

The journal invites scientists, scholars, researchers, and practitioners of Islamic Studies related to the Indonesian context to submit scholarly articles for publication. Articles must be original, research-based, unpublished, and not under review in other journals. All submissions will be reviewed by experts in the field before acceptance. Each author is solely responsible for the content of their article. Submissions that do not follow the formatting or length guidelines will be returned for revision. Articles published in the KOMUNIKOLOGIA Journal are processed and indexed by Google Scholar. The first online edition of KOMUNIKOLOGIA was published in 2024 with e-ISSN: [insert e-ISSN here].
